The National Institute of Chartered Program & Project Professionals (NICPP) is a premier institute to establish Program and Project Management as a profession in India with a thrust on infrastructure. Housed in the Quality Council of India (QCI), the NICPP Division is a joint initiative of NITI Aayog and QCI. It seeks to develop a common language of program and project management (PM) in the Indian infrastructure sector. As a premier institute of PM discipline in India, NICPP shall formulate and promote industry best practices that are contextualised for Indian projects and programs for training and certification of professionals working in the infrastructure sector, for both government and industry. It shall act as a custodian of best practices in the domain, thereby playing a significant role in India’s growth story with a programmatic approach. As India is on the cusp of a huge socio-economic transformation, NICPP aims to radically transform the way infrastructure projects are planned and executed in the country and therefore shall lead the development of a workforce skilled in conceptualising, planning, executing, managing, and delivering programs and projects in the infrastructure sector in India.
